It’s been over 3 months since we made the move from Coral Canyon. This year brought about some surprising changes for the shop and for our clients. Deciding not to buy our location and the space we shared for the last 5.5 years was the most difficult decision I’ve made as a business owner. My biggest concern was that I would be letting our entire community down. My next concern was making the transition to Fitness Culture as smooth as possible. I am absolutely grateful for the support that our community has given as we joined forces with our talented friends Eli and Makanahei. Eli runs the shop that we now rent space from. Timing lined up perfectly for us all to come together in Eli’s new space.

One of the most often asked questions is how long I think I will be staying in this location. While I don’t have a definitive answer at this time, I can say that it will most likely be a year to a year and a half. I do plan on opening another location for Benchmark and breathing new life into this business that is so important to me. During this next year I will be developing myself in business, marketing, outreach projects and more! Adley and I work side by side, but the decision was made that he would be an independent barber. As a team of 4, there is new insight in different techniques, flow and artistry. I consider myself fortunate to be surrounded by incredible talent and incredible humans.
